Replacing flat lifters?
Hello guys, I have a flat tappet zz409 cam and a bunch of other mods in my 1985 Corvette, I'm getting AFR 195 heads in about 2 weeks or so, and I wanted to replace the lifters just to freshen it up a bit. If I replace the lifters, will I need to break in the camshaft again?

Each individual lifter should be matched to it's own lobe. Don't mix and match them, don't use new lifters on a used cam. You will only cause problems. As long as the lobes are ok and aren't worn, leave everything alone. If you do have a lobe that is worn, chuck the cam and get a roller setup. It costs more, but you will make more horsepower.
