Default Center console

Hi, just bought me a 1987 vette to tinker with after retireing and redoing the center console I found two holes for lights for the shift indicator but only one light socket, is this normal, will one light work ok or should I pigtail another light in?

welcome to the forum. I bought an 86 for the same reason plus I wanted a vette since 1966. Been a long wait. Lots and lots of folks on here that can answer most any vette question you have , plus most are just a bunch of good folks.

I've been reading the forum for awhile, lots of good people and good info, I have owned a lot of C3 back in the 70s and 80s, been a long dry spell raising kids. Time for me to enjoy another vette

Ahhh, another new member in the "retirees who bought an '87" club...welcome to our group! I see your question has been answered more than once, so I'll pass on giving the all affirming redundant answer...my wife says now that I'm home all the time I do that enough with her, and that if she wanted repeats she would watch old episodes of Andy Griffith
