Hey guys, 1985 Corvette, clunks in the rear. It doesn't seem to be consistent, if I can remember correctly it happens more when going over a bumpy road.
I was thinking sway bar links, my friend suggested U joints. I don't think it's U joints because it happens when I go over bumps.
What do you guys think? How do I test swap bar links with bushings?
Best thing to do is jack it up and look at your bushings and check for play, if its your sway bar link bushings or any other bushings you should see the rubber coming apart or dried rotted bushings. Also check your wheels for any play while it is jacked up.

Thanks!
If the needle bearing are missing there can be as much as 1/4" of play in your half shaft which could show up as a clunk ... ask me how I know.
