The good and the bad

I have a 1992 runs good cold when temp hits about 140f starts popping out the exhaust and idles rough.Doesn't show any codes

Could be the ignition control module. Read through the following

If you disconnect the O2 sensor and wait for it to hit 140* F, does it still do it?

I'll give that a try.It doesn't stall but won't go over 30=35 without popping out the exhaust.
