Default do or dont help

I removed and cleaned throttle body, maf, and iac, but the tube from the valve cover to the throttle body, the rubber elbow is dry rotted it broke into bit's lol. cant find the rubber elbow anywhere, so can I just block off at the throttle body and not put it back, and if so what will happen to the running of the car.

Or run a rubber line from the cover to the throttle body.

Which tube? The PCV valve tube or the breather tube?

If it is the breather tube, you don't need to cap off the hole at the throttle body, and you can just install a breather filter instead. If it's the PCV valve tube, then I would fix it. You may fail a visual inspection.

I repaired mine with a short piece of hose from the auto parts store. It only seemed brittle nearest the throttle body

It seems best to keep it functional.

The purpose of that hose is to bring filtered air from the throttle body into the crankcase so the PCV valve side can suck out the oil vapors. That air goes into the intake manifold and into your cylinders, so it's best that it's filtered.
