Re: What kind of MPG are you getting out of your 'Vette (F5Nikon)
My 94 gets about 19 around town and 27 or so on the highway (auto/2.59 rear), my 66 coupe gets about 12-13 mpg (327/350hp, Super T-10, 3.08 rear), my 66 conv. is probably around 9-10 mpg (or is that gallons per mile?) with 454HO/M-21/4.11 rear. :smash:

With a 40% city 60% highway mix (with some spirited driving mixed in), I average ~24 mpg. 92 LT1 ZF6.

I'm getting between 17-18 back and forth to work each day. '93 LT1, no significant mods, auto trans. I've gotten 29+ on long highway trips.
Eric, it's not about trying to get good gas mileage, it's about having a car that can do what it can do, and it still doesn't suck gas. It's about laughing at SUV and Minivan and light truck drivers who walk up to you and say "Bet she's hard on the gas, huh?" when we're getting much better mileage than they are. :D

L-98 engine with about 116,000 miles on it, and I am getting between
22-25 miles PG. No one believes me when I tell them either, especially the instructors at my school, UTI. These auto-techs with about 20 years experience per, find it hard to believe that a V-8 can get this.

87 Vette Auto 3.07 gears
2½ Dual Exhaust, K&N Filter/Open Air Lid
25-27mpg highway
12-16mpg in town
Pretty good, considering my truck gets 9mpg NO MATTER WHAT!
