Default coolant change w/pics avaliable?

Let me apologize if this is already out there and I missed it.

I have been looking and searching. Does anyone have pictures or a video on doing a coolant change on a 95 lt1. YouTube has like 3 videos but they are not on corvettes. Just trying to get some extra pointers before I drain the fluid on my car.

I have found plenty of posts with instructions but just looking for the visual before I start.

I put Flush kit bibs on each of my heater hoses, so I can flush the system both ways. I also pull my thermostat, before flushing. After a good flushing, (5-10min both ways) drain the radiator, and refill with 50/50 antifreeze. If you use any water, its a good Idea to use distilled or filtered, to help with corrosion.

When you refill it start the engine, and pull the cap off the top heater hose flush kit bib. This will help burp the system. When water starts to come out, put the cap on, and your'e done. h

How do these bibs work. Is that with the engine running. One pulls out dirty fluid and the other lets clean water in to clean the system? Have any pics on what you have?

You should already have tees in your heater hoses for the supply to/from the throttle body, I'd recommend just using those. Although a bit more messy, I'd highly recommend pulling your knock sensors (1 on each side of the block) and draining there too. Even after i was getting clear water from the heater hoses, I still got crud out from the knock sensor locations. Don't neglect the correct torque when you reinstall the sensors, my 94 was 14 ft-lbs.

There is a post here somewhere about someone who rigged up a hose with two threaded fittings to screw into the knock sensor locations so he could back flush through there too.. I'd do that the next time around.

Its a T you install on the heater hose. Then you hook up a garden hose, remove your radiator cap, and turn it on. (Make sure your engine isnt hot) I dont know about your year, but Vettes in general run pretty hot. My fan doesnt even come on until 224. I ended up buying another fan with its own adjustable controller. Now I sit at 192 in the summer. Also have a big aluminum radiator, and after market water pump. Heres the flushkit youre looking for. h
