Toyo Proxes RIR
Time for new tires and would appreciate comments on the performance of the Toyo Proxes RIR tires. Will be used mostly for weekends autocrossing where street tire required for class. Ran Falken Azenis RT615Ks last year and liked the performance. The Toyos have a softer compound and weigh a pound less. Comments?

Less unsprung mass is always good as well.

My son has a E30 track-only car that has lots of laps on it. He's currently running the Hankook RS3's and says they work better than any R-spec tire he's used.
Note, this is NOT Autocross, it is track days at Willow, Buttonwillow, Autoclub, etc. so fast warm-up is not the factor it might be for you.
