header question (nonperformance)
I have a 86 with iron heads in want to install hooker super com. headers. will these bolt to my heads, also in the future I plan on installing a pair of afr190 heads will these same headers bolt up to the new heads if not is there a set of headers that will bolt up to both set of heads. thanks

Hooker headers will bolt up to both the stock and AFR heads as long as you get the L98 angle plugs on the new heads. Don't use straight or the AFR angles when purchasing those.

I'm not questioning your answer but I recall a tread on here that stated that iron heads need special headers I just want to be 100% sure before I spend money because I sure don't have alot

Sorry, people are saying that the iron heads have straight plugs. I had had the aluminum heads, and I didn't think there was a difference in the plug style. Summit lists the 2149 and 2151 as fitting 84-91 corvettes so maybe they fit both the l98 angle and straight styles?
