Ok this is kind of a tough question considering I dont have any images. I have a 91 L98, with edlebrock large tube runners. I plan on siamese porting my upper intake (because a thin bridge between runners makes no sense on the upper and its easier to make the holes larger by loosing the metal between the runner tubes on the upper intake)
Do I need to siamese into the runners themselves? The reason I ask, is I was wondering, if I siamese the upper, and leave the runners with the metal between the tubes, would this cause some sort of turbulance and actually hurt performance, or should I go ahead and siamese into the runner tubes as well. I dont plan on siamese porting the lower areas of the runners, nor do I plan on siamesing the base intake, but I do plan on opening it up more, to match the base of the edlebrock runners. Any advice you could give would be great. Thanks!
Re: questions about Siamese porting my intake (65Z01)
see this is where is gets tough without images, I assume when you say upper mounting flange, you mean the upper intake. I plan on porting it out, so instead of two holes on each side, you have 1 opened hole, looking like the outline of the number 8. Yea I know that sounds crazy. I want not planning on siamesing the runners themselves, and was wondering if I should, or if it wouldnt bother anything if I didnt...
