Possible sensor problem?
The toy sat for 3 weeks. Made an attempt to start it and was unsuccessful. It felt and sounded like a flooded/carberated engine from the 60's. Changed the plugs and the engine appears to be running rich. Perhaps a bad sensor? Any thoughts?

If the ECM thinks the coolant is cold it will richen the mixture. The CTS (Coolant Temperature Sensor) used by the ECM is on the front of the engine. The location depends on the year (which you neglected to include in your post). It has two wires, unlike the other CTS, which has one.
