Thread for c4 mods and performance
Well here is that thread and it works this way: List down your mods and all performance data you want, once I see your post I will edit in this first post with your screen name. when you see that your data is added to this first post, you can delete/modify your post if you like.
This way we will have one post that has all the engines/mods/performance data in one place.
I can start
specs:
-1996 LT4 6-speed
- dyno tuned 383 cid with forged rotating assembly
-ported and polished stock heads
-ported and polished stock intake
-comp cam cc503 with 114lsa
-1.6 rockers
-rhoads lifters
-58mm bbk throttle boy
-stock maf (with screen)
-kn cut lid
-32lbs bosh III injectors
-Melrose long tubes
-3” metal cats
-2.75” duals with one center mufflers, no mufflers at back
performance:
¼-mile et 12.4 seconds with end speed of 120mph
standing mile end speed 164mph
eec corrected hp (can't remember wheel or crank), measured with dynocom dyno. graph is in kW and Nm, but it's equal of 406 hp @ 6050rpm and 404 ft-lb @ 3850

Motor, built by Will, (rklessdriver) 385cid. 11.3 compression. custom mike jones cam. 232-236 594 lift. forged scat crank, scat rods, ross pistons. AFR 210 heads, LT4 intake, 58mm throttle body, 60lb injectors, 1&3/4 LT headers, STOCK exhaust, except for mufflers, They were Magnaflow at the time of testing. Im back to stock mufflers now and can tell no difference in power. But will be track testing soon.
3.73 gears, 3000 stall yank converter.
462 rwhp, 398tq. on a dynojet tuned by Ed Hutchings.
11.19et. at 124.6mph. in the qtr.


I have a few other changes coming this year and hope to get the car into the 10's
