Default My New Dyno with LT4 Mods

http://www.printroom.com/_vti_bin/Vi...=43&courtesy=1

This is after cam, headers, throttle body, plugs & wires installed
by Vette Wrench and programming by BV Performance.
New dyno best 342 rwhp and 337 rwtq
Prior dyno was 303 rwhp and 301 torque.
I was hoping for more. My goal is 400rwhp. When I do new heads I
think I will need a bigger cam to achieve my goal.

I should of planned out the heads/cam package better. I have not chosen
new heads yet. I think with the Hot cam the best I could get is 380rwhp
with a new/cnc ported heads.

hotcam could get you very close, but be careful that going to something bigger than hotcam (over 230/235 @ .050 i mean) on a 350 might cause some idle vacuum problems.

I must be getting old -- I can't quite read the labels on the chart. What were the #'s?

EDIT: never mind! you must have edited it as I was posting

Those sound like pretty good numbers to me considering you are running stock LT4 heads and a Hot cam.

It looks like you've made air flow mods (exhaust, intake), I would expect numbers to be a little higher, yours are not bad though. Compare your numbers with these...http://www.hashmarks.com/dyno_page.htm

LT4s are somewhat difficult to evaluate because the stock engines all perform differently with different hp outputs.

Same HP numbers as my Dad's car with similar mods. You're making more torque though, probably because of the headers. Check my sig for comparison

I got a cam up for sale. I was planning on going to 400hp with it, its better than the hot cam but keeps its characteristics.
Check it out, its brand new never been used.
