What was that process for spindle rust-scrubbing again?

Then, do you have to unbolt everything from the suspension knuckle and pull the knuckle out to get to the spindle? Or do you disconnect the spindle u-joint? Has someone posted all the steps before?
I'm getting the dreaded setback clunk when I go from lazy acceleration to hard acceleration now. I bought a T55 (male) bit and a 36mm socket today, already have a SS wire brush...hmm, forgot to buy the anti-seize...
For the rears, you can unbolt the 36MM nut and just remove the halfshaft/to/rear end yoke and pull it out of the bearing to clean the rusted spindle yokes.
(will need to drop the lower support/strut rod to allow halfshaft to come out)
No need to use the the torx bits unless you want to remove the wheel bearing as well.
I wirewheeled by spindle yoke when it was out of the car (still attached to the halfshaft),and then put antiseize over it and slipped it back inside the bearing and bolted it back to the rear end yoke.
Not a bad job at all.
Also,If you do all this and the halfshaft wont pull out from the bearing, try a rubber mallet to tap the yoke out where the 36MM nut came off.Be careful NOT to damage the threads on there.Smack it loose, then it should pull out.
