SHIFTER QUESTION????
I was wondering if there was any thing speical I should be warned of before I put in this shifter it's going in to a "91" auto coupe when I had the shop replace the transmission cable I got it back with the shifter loose and the guy tells me "hey your shifter has some play in it" funny thing I dont remember any play?????? I'm just going with a stock shifter. Am I alone in this you take your car to the shop, pick it up and and a couple of days later something else is wrong ????????? :mad :mad :mad

That's often a problem with taking the car to a shop.
Check the nut that holds the slotted end of the cable at the tranny. If ok, pull the console top and check the linkage thare.
