93 u joint half shaft replacement

93 u joint half shaft replacement
So i was replacing the u joint on the halfshaft of the drivers side
The end nearest the tire, but when i pulled out the new u joint, it was way to small.
I brought the u joint old and new to autozone, and i had the right ujoint, wat the computer said anyway
But apparently the one i needed was off the zr1 as i have the stock corvette, the zr1 u joint is a lil bigger,
So my question is, since apparently i might have a zr1 halfshaft on my stock 93 vette, is this a huge issue,? Should i replace it immediatly, or is the halfshaft ujoint zr1 combo actually better
Any info would be great, i mean it fits perfectly and runs ok now
