I don't have a link to offer you that I trust for this stuff? Someone else probably does..
But I've found that a good source of everything is those cheapo Haynes manuals.. The ones you get at Auto Zone?
You get a wiring diagram, complete engine specs and a bunch of info on little nonsense assemblies that can be frustrating otherwise.. (Dash, stuff, doors.. Etc)
They're not perfect, but it's real hard to beat them for 20 bucks. They're very comprehensive on engine specs.

Along with that there is also AllDATAdiy. Online service manual. $27 for a years subscription for a single car or $45 for a five year subscription.
I use Alldata (regular alldata, not the single car version) daily through out the week and It's pretty decent.
Some kind of manual would be money very well spent for what your wanting to do.
If you're going to spend thousands rebuilding the motor why not spend the money for the shop manuals? Besides you have them for reference which will be helpful for any future repairs.
