Default 88 ground strap

I have an 88 vert. I'm looking at engine compartment (engine is out),and notice ground strap is hanging lower than other ground wires. I touch it and it falls in my hand, Great. I know 1 end goes to left side lowwer bellhousing to block bolt, along with 4 other ground wires. The other end is missing eyelet. I can not find remnents of eylet anywhere, ie the floor, fire wall, wire harness. The strap is 1/4 inch wide aprox 18 inchs long. Anyone with an ideal of where this end goes. I'll be very much in your debt.
Thanks Joe

On my '87 it goes to a bolt on the LH frame rail ( located below where the heat shield for the brake lines is )

That ground strap goes to a bolt on the TOP of the frame rail. It's near where the brace comes down from the hood latch.
