Default 94 Opti Rebuild Question

After having the second cheap Opti go out on me in the last year, I have decided to locate an OEM non-vented opti with the Mitsubishi sensor and try to have it rebuild with new cap and rotor.

Anyone ever did this before?
What to look for to make sure the sensor is a mitsubishi in good condition?
and what other steps I should take like putting locktice on rotor screws.

what else should I make sure I do?

thanks for any help

The hardest part is installing a new bearing and seal

Found this a while back. Enjoy !! The vented bearing is a NTN SX03A13LUACS25. The unvented is a SX0389LLUACS25/L. I couldn't find a cross reference number so I measured it and Timken had an exact match. Hope this helps.
