Default 1995 Coupe: shocks, window alignment, antenna disable

SHOCKS: The car squats and dives a lot during hard acceleration and braking. It has the "soft ride" suspension which must play at least a small part in the squat & dive. It also has the original 19 year-old (53k mile) Bilsteins which work OK I guess, but they are likely worn and I am questioning their effectiveness. I'm not willing to replace the springs to deal with the squat & dive -- maybe I will have to learn to live with it -- but right now I'm looking at the shocks. Ecklers has a set of 4 new Bilsteins for $310 and I'm wondering if they will help with the squat & dive:

Also I have heard about different Bilsteins that fit the base coupe, called B6 and B8 shocks, maybe some others. I'm not yet familiar enough: does anyone know the difference, if the B6 & B8 (other Bilsteins?) will fit, and which is a direct replacement for factory stock? I would welcome a damping rate firmer than stock but nothing crazy; I don't autocross the car, just occasional spirited driving.

WINDOWS: The motors work fine going up and down but the windows do not align properly at the top. 90% of the time they slide up outside of the groove and have to be rolled down and back up several times before they eventually seat properly. Can this be fixed? The weatherstripping along the "hoop" (the strip that goes behind the door glass and the rear or targa top) was replaced before I bought the car and does not appear to be 100% correct. Can provide pics if they will help.

ANTENNA: The stock antenna works fine but I don't like the way it looks when extended. I would like to disconnect the antenna so it does not go up, while installing an aftermarket antenna inside the car that is not visible, hidden somewhere in the rear cargo area behind a panel or something. This way I can still tune in the radio but the antenna won't stick up. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Do not replace with Bilsteins - the car did that same squat and dive when it was new - just less. There are much better options - I personally went with Koni Yellows.

I went with QA1 double adjustable shocks when the time came; would do it again. Just my .02

I replaced my Bilstein front shocks with QA1 single adjustables. They are amazing. You will notice a differences in stiffness with the QA1 shocks. If you don't want them to be crazy stiff just put them on a lower setting. I still have my 150k mile rear bilsteins on.

Hi

Re the side windows not tilting in enough, there is a guide bracket (circled in image below) that limits how far the window goes up and also how far the window angles into the car.

Note a small movement makes a big difference, its a trail and error thing to get it all just right.

The bracket is behind the pressed tin and you can only access the two bolts that hold the bracket, use a flash light to look in the door and see how the guide catches the window regulator.
