So the brake booster on my 92 cracked and I'm finally getting around to replacing it. Get it ready to pull out and wouldn't you know it hits the bracket running from the corner of the windshield to to frame not allowing it to come out far enough to get the left stud out. OK no big deal I'll just remove the bracket, but the bolts on the frame just spin.
I look in the FSM and it doesn't mention removing the bracket and no one on the forums mentions removing this bracket.
So my two questions are, 1. If I cut the stud on the booster to remove it will the stud on the new booster stop me from putting it in, and 2nd, if I do end up having to pull this bracket does anyone know if the bolts on the frame have nuts on the back side or are they nutserts which will screw me over.
