Default 1989 corvette accelaration

I have a 1989 chevrolet corvette with accelaration issues
When i accelerate from under the hood everything sounds normal and rpms increase regularly
When i accelerate from the pedeal the cars stalls the rpms are not regular
I took a picture of a device that is loose and attached to the accelerator chains

I can't upload the picture there is a device connected to one of the chains that's loose hanging in the engine compartment

This device has the chain going inside and a cover, this device has some wires and connectors I guess it controls the rpm the acceleration

I wish so bad i could upload the picture would be so easy to understand i really think that's the problem

There should be no "chains" connected to the TB.
There are three cables:
-accelerator cable, has a retainer clip at the throttle plate lever
-cruize control cable, has a retainer clip at the throttle plate lever
-TV cable, has no retainer clip but the end slips into a slot in TP lever

Sounds like an aftermarket cruise control; the Audiovox CC has a large version of a dog tag chain on it at the TB. The Audiovox is a decent aftermarket unit; it will integrate with the stock turn signal cruise switch. I would bet that is not your problem.

When you say 'accelerate', are you under load (moving), or just increasing the engine RPM at a stand still?

You guys are fantastic i finally found out that device is a cruise control and the cruise control is loose i guess when the old owner changed the battery it never put it back correctly its loose under the engine compartment under the hood tomorrow morning ill try to play around disconnet the device or something, the car accelerate fine when i accelerate manually from under the hood with my hand when i use the accelelarator the car doesnt go up with rpm only at high speed on the freeway otherwise the car stalls at low rpm it seems clogged not regular it seems that something choke the accelaration i really hope its the cruise control so i can disconnect it
