I'm thinking of installing the Jet Stage 2 for Manual transmissions. I. Wondering if anyone has used one and if they'd recommend it? Being a stage 2 I wouldn't install it until I've put in a K+N cold air, a 180deg. Thermostat and a magna flow cat back...
Thoughts? Thanks for any advise!
In fact save a bunch of money and read around here about cold air intakes, out of the box chips, lowering thermostat temps and other useless snake oil.
Years ago when my car was relatively stock I bought a stage 2 Jet chip and took the car to the track. I did back to back tests with the stock chip vs the Jet chip. The car was about .15 seconds quicker with the stock chip. I promptly sold the Jet chip on Ebay.
"CFI-EFI" ran the same test with similar results; his car went faster w/the factory chip.

Hypertech, or Jet really don't do much other than lower fan temps. Factory chips can vary, and some years, or BCC (broadcast codes) are better than others. IE: An 87, 88 ABTR can benefit from stealing the more aggressive spark map from the 89 APYP. Using a 85 L98 Corvette in a 87 L98 Camaro makes a world of difference.
Finding a reputable tuner who cares and will stand behind what they do is worth their weight in gold. Without knowing what you have anything else is speculation. Like others, I tried a handheld tuner for a 2000 SS Camaro and it made no difference, so I sold it.
