1986 c4 Annoying squeal.

Changed my smog pump (not the pulley) hoping that was my problem. The squealing stopped last night, but has started again this morning.
should i try changing the belt also?
Change the pulley?
Someone help before I go Deff!

You have probably done this, but have you removed the belt and spun each pulley individually to find the source of the noise?

Annoying squeal?

1) Open passenger door
2) Remove wife
3) Problem solved.

Or if your nice

1) Open Door
2) Install diamond on wifes finger
3) Problem solved.

Squeal

I had a squeal out of mine over winter storage when I would start it up for the monthly run. It was the alternator when it was cold out. Once it warmed up the squeal went away.
