The 92 waterpump is minus a 5/8" inlet/outlet (lower left). I have a 93-96 waterpump on my 92 but use the extra 5/8" I/O as a return from the heater to eliminate the throttle body coolant pass through and the "T" on the upper radiator hose.

it's a sweet and easy conversion... you get rid of the coolant though the throttle body and ditch that stupid T.
Also, the later LT1s did have the coolant through the throttle body, it was just plumbed differently.
