Hello, I have a 95 lt1 with almost 90000 miles. Been trouble with it over heating. had a pressure test done on it over night held 10lbs fine got it out today and finally heard and smelled a drop hitting somewhere on the drivers side exhaust manifold. Any thoughts where it might be coming from.

A properly functioning cooling system requires the system to be full,
sealed from external air, and the overflow bottle to be at the proper marks.
From your post, we don't know the coolant levels, and we don't know the temp with which you are concerned...... have you taken a digital temp reading?
Sounds like you may have a leak, which means you are leaving home with less coolant each trip. If there is a leak, there is no siphon..... hot coolant expanding into the overflow bottle, then siphoning back during cool-down.
A pressure test may only detect a leak in the radiator and surge tank...not an engine gasket breach. The following link may help:
Temps today was fine went up to about 213 setting in traffic, then back down to 195ish going down the road. In the past the overflow seems to work fine. there is siphon hot coolant expanding into the overflow bottle, then siphoning back during cool-down. But other times it got up to 250 and boiling out the overflow. Think I found the problem in the leak. Just dont know where its coming from.

If boiling, there is air in the system (no need to bleed as the LT1 is
self-bleeding)..... check the surge tank cap gasket... any deformity
will allow air in, and not raise the boiling point. Also, check hose ends for splits, clamps for tightness. The fill neck on the surge tank is noted for minute fractures due to the torque required to remove the cap. With the cap off, run your finger nail over all surfaces to feel for a split.
Are the fans activating at about 228 primary, and 235 secondary?
Yes, fans work great setting in shop goes to 228 fans kick on temp goes back down. Think if i could find where the leak is dripping on the drivers side exhaust manifold and fix that everything would be fine. Would it be a head gasket or is there some kind of hose on the drivers side that could be leaking on exhaust manifold?

Driver's side is a little bit of a mystery, as there are no lines on that side of the engine, other than the upper radiator hose.

But.. did you pressurize to 15lbs? My guess is you have something spraying back from the upper hose connection or Radiator.
