I am going to start from the back and work my way forward.
The car sat for 4 years so I knew i was going to have to go through fuel system. I took the tank out and cleaned it. I change the sending unit and pump, I change the fuel lines from the tank to the filter , changed the filter and I blew air from the filter to the fuel rails. I did not touch the fuel rail or fuel regulator. I change all the injectors, I check all the wiring make sure there was no shorts. I have no clue what else I am missing but I am not getting fuel. I will keeping spraying starter fluid in and it will run forever but I need the fuel. Please help. Should I take the fuel rails off and clean them, or open up the fuel regulator? Or is there something else?
Check your fuel pump relay and associated connectors and wiring. It is operated by the ECM. It should turn on for 2 seconds when you turn on the ignition. It should also turn on when the engine is rotating, either cranking or running.
I know the electric works I had the local mechanic put his computer on it and I disconnect the fuel to the fuel rail and I am getting gas until that point, so I know the pump and everything works
It always helps if you provide the year of your vette.. Did your mechanic check for fuel pressure, and spark, put a noid light on the injectors to check for its pulse??
