Default Cold start valve vacuum leak

Been gone for awhile. Vette has been sitting for a few years. Decided a few months ago to get it going. After replacing O-rings in fuel rail and diaphragm in FPR, I now have a massive vacuum leak at the ninth injector. 100 to 1 this is my own fault - mechanical items do what you tell them without question and this creates problems (I do something stupid every day, just don't always realize it). Anyway, the teardrop shaped flange that mounts the injector...should it have any bend in it or should it be perfectly flat and perpendicular to the injector body? OK, admit it. How many people just thought, "I don't know." Well, for those of you that do know and care, please share your wisdom. Thank you.
p.s. Don't need to laugh, friends already have. Don't need to bi***, wife has that covered!

I was rushing to finish this and it got a bit dark. Apparently, as I tightened the bolt, the injector was not lined up properly and the flange now has about a ten degree bend in it, which when tightened, kicks the opposite end out enough to leak...a lot. Will try to gently flatten this on the vise and reinstall. Thanks vetteoz for the quick response.

They do make a kit that you can use to remove it completely

I did this to my car took me forever to figure out were it was coming from. I just bended it back with vice grips and made sure it popped in there good and it was fine. If you take the intake off again you can unscrew the metal line to the fuel rail so you can get a better grip. Its a real pain in the butt so you just gotta be patient

Yep, done that and have been VERY careful since...

Not to worry, that flange can be straightened and it will seal fine. I think I straightened mine with vice grips.
