Broken wire ? What is it ?
While working in my engine bay, i noticed this broken wire.
It is now repaired but Im hoping someone can help identify it.
Gray wire going from the injector harness to a connector under the plenum on the drivers side.
No check engine light, no codes.

Thanks Bud...
I wonder if the occasional sputter might go away with the repaired wire?

Yes. It Will. If The Egr Valve Is Not Opening During A Commanded Egr Cycle, The Fuel Mixture Will Go Lean And Can Cause A Lean Misfire Or Sputtering.

The ECM will only call for EGR after some steady speed with coolant temp >175 deg F.

I have noticed since I have had the car, after about 15 or so minutes of driving, it seems to get a slight stutter/hesitation.
I often noticed it at highway speed, with real light throttle
