Default targa truss bar

invested in a targa bar from a guy named tom at pro street----i hated the shake --twist--- and shimmy with the roof off. i did alittle research and found this guy and man i couldnt believe the difference. my 86 is tight and feels solid. the bar also came beautifully powder coated and looks great. excellent addition to my car.

I bought one from Tom a couple of years ago. What a difference! I didn't like to drive around topless because of all the creaks and groans. Now I almost never put the top on.

They say maybe some sun on Sunday. If so I'll pull the car out and take pictures of the bar. If not they predict rain through Thursday. While not cheap it is quality made and I think well worth it. I tried to get a group buy going a couple of years ago but couldn't get enough takers.

The previous owner of my 95 coupe bought one just like this and gave it to me when I bought the car. It is custom-made but I forget who/where he said he got it. The mounting bolt holes match up perfectly with the factory top mounts, has a black enamel finish just like this one in the pics from Birddogtwo, looks nice and works great! It easily fits in the rear storage area too

If only there was a brace that would fit the targa roof panel and not occupy a lot of room, i rarely have the targa roof off . On a nice day late afternoon is the only time, hate the direct sun on my head.
If you say wear a hat well that is like having the targa roof on.

I notice some flexing with the roof on when turning the wheel hard around a racetrack, these roof panels need a diagnal bar i think.

Twisting,flexing and rattling.
How about someone telling us what brace can permanently put on the underside of the car with bolts or welded and eliminate the need for a truss?Would like to know for a refernce.
