Today I replaced a cracked wiper motor cover hoping that it would make my wipers. It didn't help. When I move the wiper switch in the door, I hear electrical sounds coming from the wiper motor cover area; just as I did with the wiper motor cover which was cracked.
I floored the car from a dead stop and the wipers went up. I had to floor the car two more times to get the wipers to cycle to the down position. Then, I pulled the two connections from the wiper motor cover.
I do not yet have a FSM. I need to drive the car this week and central MN has rain in the forecast for this week. Is there a procedure for trouble shooting the wipers? Thank you.
