If you have lots of leaks, the block may have a serious injury(RIP). No fixing that. Replacement depends on $$$$$$. Lots of options out there.

Since your in Ohio how about a Jegs long block. You could even save shipping costs by driving up to their place 101 Jegs Blvd, Delaware, OH‎

About 230

If your car was a manual then it got the more stout Dana 44 which is good for a decent amount of extra power. Otherwise the Dana 36 may not last long. Keep in mind that with the differential it's the peak torque in first gear that is going to kill things. A non-sticky tire may be all you need to keep differential happy.

The 700R4 wasn't the most stout thing but can be built with some good parts that will get it to stand up to a lot of power. If it were me I would just put in the best engine and then replace the drivetrain if/when it dies.

350 hp at the crank should not be a problem for the 700R4 or the Dana 36. LT1 cars were at 300hp.

None of those options should cause any immediate problems. The difference between 330 and 380 lb. ft. is only about 15%, which I would hope is well within design tolerance for all those parts.

As for the 3 grand, sorry can't help you there. But have you considered a junk yard motor? TPIs should be available all over the place for dirt cheap. Mine has about 180K miles on it and is still going strong so you probably don't need to find one with particularly low mileage.
