Standard roller rockers hit stud...GRRRRRR
I decided to use 7/16 rocker studs on my LT1 heads and standard width roller rockers. The intake arms hit my head studs. I built a different LT1 and used crane rockers and they were fine with head bolts. I'm curious if anyone has used a narrow body rocker arm with a 7/16 stud? I'm using Scorpion aluminum rockers.

On my prior '88 I went with ProMagnum 1.6:1, 7/16" studs, hardened guide plates & pushrods, all from Comp Cams. To get clearence I had to grind down the valve cover drip tabs and narrow the bolt towers a bit. Then all was fine; never had a clearence issue.
BTW, the ProMagnums are rather narrow with less rotating mass than Al rockers.
