There are individual bulbs in the DIC so that's one way to do it. But try disconnecting the wire harness at the ABS pump. That may shut the light off.
Why are you removing the ABS unit? That may require some changes to the brake lines.

I know their are many views and ABS is a good thing for many drivers. It's not my intention to start a debate. Pretty much gonna remove it for weight and to keep things simple. The car won't see ice or be driven in the rain.

Remember if you pull the ABS pump out of the car, you're likely going to have to replace it with a proportioning valve or expect daily spins in certain conditions.
