Slapstick Automatic
Does anyone make a quarter stick (like Hurst) or a kit to turn the stock auto shifter into a slapstick/ ratchet design? :smash: I want something that will bolt in without cutting up my console. Getting tired of pushing for second and missing right into third! :mad

I don't know if anybody has come out with one yet that is a drop in fit. I put in a B&M Megashifter. I got the one that they make for the '82-93 Firebird/Camaro's consoles. It took some work to get it to fit. I had to do some cutting on the console top plate. It sure works great tho. The rubber boot that comes with it won't reach so I need to have a leather one custom made. I showed the car to a guy that does hot rod interiors and he said he would make me a real nice leather one for $50. I actually took the rubber boot off so now it is just the exposed mechanism. People always ask about it. I just tell them it is stricktly for racing and even illegal on the street, ssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh. That gets em thinking.
