Default Need exact help c6 wheels on c4

I am putting on 245/40z/r18 front and 285/35z/r19 rear on a 1992 c4 coupe. I need to know for sure if I need spacers or not. I've found lots of info but nothing exact to my car

2nd do I need hub centric or lug centric spacers?

Jack

C6 stock wheels sizes are:

18x8.5 front with 46mm offset and 19x10 rear with 65mm offset.

The tires sizes you listed will fit but, won't look right. You need 255/40/18 front and 285/30/19 rear.

Also, if you need to use spacers you need to get 70.3mm HubCentric. You'll also need to install 1/2" longer wheel studs if you use the spacers.

Will the tires I bought make the car look tall or jacked up? The tire sizes seem very close

Sorry, I misread your post... Yes, you bought the correct OEM tire sizes for the C6 wheels...

A 5mm hubcentric spacer on the rear will look a lot better, otherwise the rear wheels will fit a little more towards the inside of the wheel well.

Thanks for clearing that up, most if the threads I've read have mention 25mm spacer or 3/4-1"

The C6 OEM tire sizes are taller than the stock tires on the 91-96 C4 Vettes.

That's why I suggested the other tires sizes.

I have the 19x10 C5 Vette Deep Dish wheels and I found that the 285/30/19 tires are just about the same diameter as the stock 275/40/17 C4 tires. According to my GPS App, the speed at 65 mph matches my speedometer display.

Using C6 OEM tire sizes, the speedometer will show a +3mph increase at 65mph.

Actually, 245/35/18 front and 285/30/19 rear would be the closest match to the stock C4 275/40/17 tire height.

Check out this site but, disregard the Speedometer chart which doesn't apply to staggard tires.

Also, the C6 OEM 19x10 wheels have a 79mm offset and the Aftermarket C6 wheels have a 68mm offset so, it depends on what C6 wheels you have which will determine the correct spacer or adapter size. The OEM C6 wheel will require a 20mm (or 3/4") adapter.

Gotcha,

Then, you'll need a 3/4" wheel adapter for the rear wheels.

Your speedometer display will show a +3 mph increase at 65mph.
