I was going to pull off the upper radiator shroud on my 93 to clean out the debris. After checking it out before I start, it looks straight forward except for the 3 screws on each side that holds the top to the bottom, I assume they have to come out. My question is how do you get to them ,it looks like I can get the ones on pass side, but the drivers side is a bear, thanks for any help Jim.
It's a pain. get some from the bottom and some from the top. Then put back in the easy ones and put the rest in a bag somewhere. Sorry, no magic bullet here.
Yup, they are a pain... on both sides. It took me two beers to get all of them out!
On the drivers side, remove the air pump that is in the way. You'll be able to get two out of the three on each side between the frames, but the top one I just went after with a small open end wrench an 1/8 turn at a time! Needless to say, the 7mm bolts DID NOT go back in!! :nono: Good luck!
