Head Gasket??

Is that a coolant/water, oil mix?? best bet be a blown head gasket??
PROVE the problem before you start tearing **** apart !
I've seen some serious condensation do this. There is condensation that forms each time you warm up and let an engine cool down. IF the engine never gets hot enough to burn that water OUT of the oil (ie: friggin 160 T-stats! ! !) and fans that run all the time....THIS is what you get !
ALL the shade tree engineers should SEE this photo! this is what cold running engines look like inside.
You must see coolant loss.
you must have over-heating.
you must have a cylinder that's got a steam cleaned plug. An 'odd' colored spark plug will do...
IIWM, I'd look at #5 & 7.....and #2 plugs. That's the most likely place for a head gasket failure on a L98 and an intake leak....
But, again, PROVE the problem before taking ANY action.
Test the head gasket by removing the belt. Start it. Rev it. Watch the water in the radiator neck as you rev it. The water should remain still. IF the water moves at all....a head gasket is confirmed. A good engine wil not move the water...how can it with no pump turning unless the engine gasses are causing it to move? see?
this does NOT work on LT motors...
Maybe pop over to Edmonton for a Sunday drive. That should be gone when you get home.
Or just clean it out and go for an hour or two drive and see if it's there when you get back. I'm betting it'll be gone.
