Questions regarding lowering the Vette...
I want to lower the Vette about 3/4 -1". What is needed to accomplish this? Is it an easy mod or is it best to go to a shop?

You can do a search and you'll find numerous topics on lowering them.
Basiclly, you order the lowering kit from MAD, Ecklers, VBP, etc... the rear is very easy, you replace the bolts with longer ones.
The front involves removing the front spring which is a good amount of work. There is an excellent write up in the Tech Tips section on how to do this. You should get an alignment afterwords. I personally paid someone to do mine.. 300bucks including the alignment... one of the best mods' I've done.
