Another vote for the AFR 195 Eliminator heads! Heads are not something you want to cheap out on.

Thier 180 L98 head is plenty for a 350 tpi plus your exhaust manifolds will cover the port, 195s youll need headers

Buy the head thats best for your build NOT not one you think you may grow into down the road...your car will run the way its supposed to.

AFR heads BUT ONLY if you remove the TPI inlet and go to a mini ram so you can rev it and use the higer flowing heads, long tube headers are also a must.

If tyou are keeping the TPI runners and inlet manifold forget about the heads and just get long tube headers.

Im running edelbrock heads intake and runners. They do the trick for me, You are going to here as many yeas for as many different combos out there. Like was said before get what matches your build or you will find your self going back words. Get info from people who are in the know. talk to the cam manfactures and teh different head and intake guys to set you in the right direction. Also there are pleanty of build guides on line. Nothing is more importent then matching things up to complement each other

When I was looking for heads I wrote down the flow figures of each at .500 lift, as most people with modified TPI's are running between .500 and .550 lift (at the time I was running a .500 Lunati)

Edelbrock CNC 185 250/199
Trickflow 195 253/177
Brodix 180 243/175
Patriot 190 250/175
AFR 180 260/207
AFR 195 274/207

Now, there is always going to be some give and take when the manufacturer gives you the flow figures, but they are probably in the ballpark,
like Cuisinart said, go with what compliments your combo, I ended up with Edelbrock cnc 185 and they work well with the TPI, but as you can see the AFR's do flow very well, and the AFR 180's would be a good TPI head.
If you want to research more you could look up the flow figures across the whole lift range of the heads that your interested in and compare.

I agree....the heads need to match the build. I picked up some slightly used Edelbrock RPM's for 600 bucks. A good fit for a modded 85 350 TPI and the finish quality is amazing compared to other cheap heads. I don't think I would pay full price for them. Still waiting to put them on.
