I've done the reset before in the past when I cleaned and fixed my infl rest light a couple years ago. I think at that time it was a code 26 or something. Whatever the case, last time it indicated a passenger side sensor. It came back on again and when I pulled the codes this time it said code 35. What the heck is that? I know its not the IAC. You get that one from field diagnostic mode through the check engine light. This was a 35 through the grounding of pin K on the diagnostic terminal and flashes the INFL REST light. Any ideas?
CCM Fault Code 35 is "Data Strobe Circuit Shorted to B+ or CCM Driver Open". How good are you with Greek? :D Basicly a power shortage. Had that one and codes 31, 33, 37 when I had a battery go bad. Was told they were set as a result of low battery voltage. I replaced the battery and no more problems.
Well, the battry is getting a bit old but still holds a charge and starts the car up just fine. I do have something related to that though. About 4 or 5 weeks ago at our local autox I noticed the voltage dropping down more than normal. I thought my alternator was heading south but when driving around it picks back up to close to where it should be but it is lower under most circumstances. I also noticed that the darn thing makes a whining noise like its bearings are bad or something. You ever heard the power steering on a Ford truck from say, 1995? Thats what my alternator sounds like. I wonder if the two code 35 and alternator are related?
