The tranny will be here Wednesday! Just took the car out to the dealership to get it all prepped up for Wednesdays install.
Just as my luck would have it, Dad hit a deer as we were coming back into town with the truck and trailer! I saw them at the last minute and he threaded the needle between the buck and doe. The doe was the unlucky one. It ran in the same direction as the buck. The buck just cleared the passengers front fender and the doe went right between the truck and trailer.
We went back and sure enough there she lay! No damage to the truck or trailer that we could see.
At least something is having a worse week than I am. Sorry all you animal lovers.
Can't wait to see how the car runs with the new tranny! Perhaps Michelle will excuse me from my wedding, so I can go race! :jester
Sorry to hear about your bad luck it will turn around when you get that trany in your car because then you can start driving it again and now it will show you what it has since you got knocking from that cam rubbing the cover, I bet the cam took so much timeing out that it must have lost a lot of power.
You aguys are never gonna believe this. The poopiety luck continues!
Well I was waiting for Michelle to get home from having her nails done and the baby and I were playing around. Well he went to the kitchen and spilled a whole box of ceral on the floor. I went to clean it up with the sweeper and totally knocked my lower back out! I couldn't even begin to get up! He must have known I was in some serious pain, he came right over and sat down beside me. He just sat there staring at me.
I had to literally crawl to the phone. Called Michelle and she came right home. She called my Chiropractor and he told me to come right down. I hobbled into the office and he checked me out. Cracked my back and it felt much better.
I decided to take the night off and not strain it. I will head out to the dealership tomorrow to install it. I definately do not want to be out of commission for this weekend and next week. I might need that lower back for bustin a move at the reception and not to mention the honeymoon! :D
Guess that is what 18 yrs of wrestling leaves you with!
I was really just kidding about the no one cares bull! But hey guys thanks for the words. :yesnod:
The freezer has been full since last hunting season. But I don't want to get into that whole dispute. You know they would rather see them get hit by cars and rot along the roads than be shot.
...FINALLY seeya That things been out of commision since I was up there. Can't wait to hear how she runs.
Sorry about the back
What about Numidia  Is this weekend to soon ;)
Maybe, you could celbrate the wedding and the trans install with some fresh deer meat. I am an animal lover too. But I love fresh meat on the table. Hope that it did not go to waste!
Let us know how things turn out. And oh yeah....go out and dance your pants off. Most of us only get married once. Enjoy!
Oh that's right, I forgot it was this weekend. I'll keep Aug 6 - 7 open. I'll check in tomorrow to see how the trans went.
Uh oh, I just remembered, I made an appointment to get the Rear looked at the first week in August. I forget the date. I'll check in the morning. They didn't give me any problem, so that's good news. I expected them to give me the run around. Let hope they actually fix it.
