I used the GM DuraStop cross drilled and slotted rotors when I did the C-5 upgrade. It was mostly an esthetic decision though. I think they look cool. Jeff Kopp can get them for you for $105 each for the C-5 rotors. Don't know about the ZR-1/ GS rotors...
Save yourself some money and keep your stock brakes or upgrade to C5 or GS brakes. Cross drilled stock sized brakes will give you less stopping power becuase of less swepted area. Cross drilling is fine for very large special alloy disks. If you are looking for good braking just go bigger. I like GS brakes. If you are looking for looks, get cross drilled, but you may give up a little at stock size. I suggest braided stainless lines and a DRM bias spring as well.

The drilling is for looks. Slotted helps release built up gas under the pad during heavy braking. C5 pads are slotted doing the same thing.
Drilling actually creates weak points making them more susceptable to cracking which noone covers. You crack one its your problem.
If you want better braking , get the bias spring and upgrade to either C5 or GS brakes. The GS are head and shoulders better than what you have with the C5 being that much better again over the GS brakes. I talked to 18carfan, GM parts guy. He's running what I am, stock C5 rotors, even though he could get the drilled cheap. You do the math.
I'd vote for the Baer Eradispeeds on several counts.
1) Lighter, due to the aluminum hub.
2) Crossdrilled as an option (for looks and a small weight savings. If properly deburred and broken-in, durability is good, short of all out racing.
3) Vented rotor in the rear
4) These rotors with GS Calipers have great aesthetics.
Upgrading to the 13" rotor and GS calipers is a change that, with good pads, will produce very good braking. C5 brakes, Alcons, etc are even better, but more $$$.
