Bose Speakers are going Crazy
First When I turn the Engine on I get Static It gets louder when you rev the engine I changed Spark plugs and wires and It still does the same thing and when I put the volume up all of my speakers pop It doesn't matter if the engine on or off what could it be ??

sounds like the amp(s) have died... when they commence to pop, they have popped.
also, the headunit may be the cause.
what year??? I don't remember... arn't you driving a 94?
If so, there is a seperate receiver module behind the glovebox/passenger airbag(vintage dependant). that, too, could be a culpret.

Sorry man. Bose is not compatable with anything. You can make an aftermarket head work with the bose speakers and amps with a power converter but they don't make the reverse. Besides, its an 8 year old CD made by Panisonic for Bose based on a 15 year old design. Why bother? If you want a good setup, just post what your budget is, what you have, and what you want and I'll try to help. Best is to post in the audio section so it doesn't get lost. :cheers:

You might unplug one speaker at a time to see if you can find one going bad if you do not want to upgrade. This might tell you if it is head unit or speakers. If you do go to an aftermarket make sure you look around on this site for the mod to keep the sys light from blinking. Also when I did mine I added a power amp behind the pass seat and a mini woffer in rear compartment. I had to make two trips. First trip was without the mini woffer. It made a big difference. okay Freind of mine is going to change his sound System in a 2001 corvette and he said he will give me the speakers now would these speakers work with my System have anybody done this before
