Could plug gap cause code 32?

Could plug gap cause code 32?
Previous to regapping my plugs to .035 my code 32 problem had disappeared for 3-4 months. Now within a week of regapping my plugs, my old code 32 has reappeared 2X. Could the gap change cause this? Im thinking about regapping them to .045. Any ideas?

If I remember correctly... I think code 32 is related to the EGR curcuit. It is quite common for a code 32 to be produced by the EGR temperature switch. It only costs about $9.
