This question is for CaptainPegs07
Did you have to install a converter of any kind to wire your trailer light wiring harness to your car ?
Or did you just use the curt harness with no converter?

It's all a 12 volt system so no converter is required. I got a generic trailer light harness from NAPA with crimp splice connections.

who would trust a light gauge vette frame to tow anything ?? required installation torque will distort subframe. then it loosens and then what ??

I have it posted locally on CL. Doubt if it will sell. I have been thinking of torching and rewelding to adapt to c5 if it does not work, but for the price of a new one for my C5 it hardly seems worht the bother. THanks for pointing this out.

Cars and trucks with separate brake and turn signals need a converter to make the trailer's combined brake/turn lights work properly.
