On the '94 Corvette the rear ABS sensor is removable and I can count the number of teeth (47) on the reluctor ring. Could someone verify that the front wheel has the same number of teeth?
I believe all Bosch systems are 47 tooth for their systems used on the Corvette C4 and most other of their systems of the period. '91+ are sealed so it would be required to open one up for confirmation. I would think there should be some around. Since it's a sealed end cap ABS it maybe different but the sensor and ring output is equal to the rear sensor and 47 tooth.
Timken offers a tooth count on all of their hub/bearings where the ring is exposed. '90 and earlier Corvette 47 tooth for fronts.
Thanks for the information. I have an old front wheel hub, but I was hoping to avoid tearing it apart. I have a '59 with '94 suspension. The car has a 572 crate engine so wheel spin is available almost anytime. I would like to collect the signals from the ABS sensors and process them to show and perhaps, at some later point, correct the differential in wheel speeds.
