Ok I know this will get a lot of different opinions but here goes. I need help deciding on a set of mufflers on my 88 vert. Mine have rotted out right in front of the muffler itself which is way too loud. I do not want a lot of noise nor spent a lot of money on an exhaust system just replacement mufflers. I have read about all types including muffler eliminators. I don't want a lot of noise just a good throaty mellow tone. Much like a mustang GT (I know that's a ford). Any suggestions for a good tone without spending 5 or 6 hundred dollars.
