94?? I have a pcmforless mail order custom tune and I have a 90. In fact a few months ago I had to get an updated tune and they emailed me one. I would call alvin and ask them directly. I wouldn't see why they wouldn't be able to help you.
Were you trying to fill out a custome tune form or one of their pre-made tunes?

The early ECM does not have the capability to upload/download data.
The Moates site has a product that piggy-backs on ECM.
Its programmable and makes loading bins a snap.
There is a guy who does it on here, but idk who. I used a guy on thirdgen.org, but I recently wanted to change something and tried to get ahold of him and that was about two weeks ago. So guess I'm in the same boat and I'll bump and see if anyone post the info for guy on here again. Still like was said w/o some data logging you won't get the best tune. So if your like me and don't own a laptop, you prob can only get some basic stuff done like egr, vats, fans.

Having a cam itself may not be a reason to delete the EGR. It's sole purpose is to prevent detonation, keep your KS from engaging, and losing even more power.
However, if your cam is "big enough", the overlap creates enough reversion to help "pollute" the incoming charge for the same purpose. Are you sure your cam is "big" enough?

I was under the impression that EGR was for emissions purposes.

That is a side-effect...the lowering of NOX fumes created as it nears detonation.
Without an EGR "bung", programming it out is what you want to do. That alone is easy (with Moates/Tuner Pro). You would be well off to tune for fuel/spark with a new cam too.
