What causes hesitation or lag when you stab the gas pedal quickly while at lower rpms in these LT1 engines? Optispark is new and car has been tuned up. It also has brand new LTCC kit installed. If you gas it steady it will scream through the RPM range. If you hit the gas pedal to quickly it hesitates or bogs severely? The problem is more pronounced when you gas it from lower RPMs. Any ideas please LMK?

I just did a tuneup on my 94 and that included the fuel filter, I am still having the same issue. I know my spark delivery is good, I'm beginning to suspect it's fuel related. It's almost like when you punch it the engine "floods" and it really chokes it out.

Mine feels like an old 4 barrel carburetor that when you hit the gas quickly or punch it it falls on its face with a big old bog. Like a major vacuum leak, influx of air and no fuel to meet it. Bog city. But steady fuel and it will run through the RPM ranges but feels lethargic.

That's exactly the same thing I'm dealing with.
First on my list is to check fuel pressure, if that checks out it will be time to try to find the vacuum leak.
